Analysis of Optical Characteristics of Clip-on Mirror Sunglasses According to vision Between Lenses

In this study, contrast sensitivity has been analyzed from the difference of interval between lenses by using regular mirror sunglasses and clip-on sunglasses with different visions of lens between the front and the back, and optical characteristics have been compared and analyzed from colors of mirror lens. 70 peoples wore clip-on mirror lens with different interval between the front and the back as 1.4mm and 6.7mm while changing the intensity of illumination and colors of mirror lens to measure contrast sensitivity. The contrast sensitivity of the clip-on sunglasses was lower than that of ordinary mirror sunglasses with only one lens. The contrast sensitivity at high illumination was higher than at low illumination. The contrast sensitivity of clip-on glasses was better as the lens spacing was narrower. There was no difference in contrast sensitivity between the four colors coated on the mirror lens.
