The blue solid spectrum aligns closely with that (red-dashed) of LAB alone below 1500 cm-1. Above 1500 cm-1, Sample C shows a gradual increase in transmission, mirroring the behavior seen in Sample B with up to a 1% increase at higher wavenumbers. Notable are the experimental artifact peaks and the CO2 absorption band, with differences in effects around 3000 cm-1 between PPO and bis-MSB, where bis-MSB shows additional declines not seen with PPO. Overall, Sample C exhibits a similar maximum increase of about 1% in transmission as Sample B, with slightly larger variations around LAB's major absorption peaks compared to the impact of PPO.
