Cumulant Expansions and Energy Shifts Obtained by Using a Quantum Physical Perturbation

Abstract

By applying the cumulant expansion and Gell-Mann and Low theorem to the time-independent perturbations, we show that the energy shifts can be obtained easily. Especially, the series expansion of the energy shift obtained by using a perturbation is equal to the cumulant expansion of the action operator corresponding to the perturbing potential energy operator.

양자물리학의 시간에 무관한 섭동의 계산을 위해 겔만과 로우의 정리와 큐물런트 전개를 사용하면 섭동에 의한 에너지의 이동은 모든 차수에 대해서 간단히 구해짐을 보였다. 특히 에너지의 이동의 섭동론적 전개는 섭동 퍼텐셜에너지에 해당하는 작용량 연산자의 큐물런트 전개와 같다.
